Obtaining quality sound level data outdoors may require extra protection for the meter and related components. Monitoring noise over extended periods in extreme environments puts extra demands on equipment – the ability to protect and power through virtually any kind of weather is provided by the CEL-6847.

CEL-63X series meters excel at medium to longerterm continuous noise measurement – with large internal memory they produce results that can include overall and regular interval noise levels plus the added versatility of whole octave or third octave frequency detail. The CEL-6847 kit case has been engineered to provide fully sealed environmental protection for the meter and its key accessories - including a high capacity rechargeable battery pack that can power the system for over 10 days.

Simply choose the CEL-63X meter that best fits your application (see CEL-63X Selection Chart) and place it inside the CEL-6847 kit case. Use any C6717/X extension cable (‘X’ denotes length) to remotely position the microphone up to 100 feet away - and start recording. The CEL-6737 microphone protection system offers wind and rain protection to the CEL-495 preamp and CEL-251 or -252 microphone for secure measurements in almost any weather conditions.

The B155 battery pack and charger are provided as accessories to the case which comes complete with internal cables to connect everything securely.
